Leadership

Pastor Mike was saved at the age of five and began preaching at the age of twelve.  He has a love for God, for God’s Word, and for people.  He graduated from Southeastern Free Will Baptist College with a bachelor degree of a double major in Bible and Pastoral Theology.  He spent six years in ministry as a Youth and Assistant Pastor in Cary, N.C.  Pastor Mike became the Lead Pastor of Church H2O (formerly known as Forestdale FWB) in April of 2000.  He and his wife, Cherri have been married and serving the Lord together since June of 1992.  They are blessed to have each of their three children serving together at H2O in ministry.  

Pastor Mike also serves as the Chaplain for the Adamsville Fire Department, Track Pastor & Jr. Fan Club Director for Sayre Speedway, Chaplain for the Adamsville Senior Center, and the President of Sayre Hope Inc.

Michael has been a member of the Church H2O ministry since 2000. In 2017, Michael graduated from Southeastern Free Will Baptist College with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Theology. While in college he served as intern at 2 other miniseries. Since 2017, Michael has served the role of youth pastor and now executive pastor here at Church H2O. He is married to Katelyn Cox and they are the parents of 3 kids together.
